History
In the Fall of 2004, God enlarged the vision of campus ministry to encompass every university student throughout the state of Wisconsin. With the guidance of five Board Members, Wisconsin Christian Campus Ministries became incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit. With the help of additional Frontline and Support Staff, many students were reached and heard about Jesus.
In the Fall of 2008, WCCM assumed leadership over an existing ministry at UW-Madison, formerly known as Wisconsin Christian Student Fellowship (Koinonia House). WCSF began in 1970 in partnership with the local Christian church. Throughout the years it touched hundreds, if not thousands of lives for Jesus. With the vision and direction of WCCM, the Madison ministry began growing once again.
In 2011, in order to have a name that could translate to all of our campuses and truly represent who we are as a campus ministry, Wisconsin Christian Campus Ministries started functioning as His House Christian Fellowship, more commonly known as His House.
In 2012, more frontline staff were added, enabling us to begin ministries on the Ripon College campus in Ripon, as well as at Lawrence University in Appleton.
In the spring of 2014, a former student from the UW Oshkosh ministry joined our staff to plant a new ministry at UW Green Bay.
